Welcome to the Web Whisperers
Hi. This is Bill O’Hanlon. Welcome. Ryan Nagy and I met during a boot camp for people who wanted to learn to be great international presenters and get hired to do workshops and public speaking. During the week, I spoke about how important having products, especially Internet-based digital downloads, and doing Internet-based marketing, was to a speaker’s success these days.
Ryan seconded my sentiments and decided to do his demonstration presentation on “How to create a blog in 5 minutes or less.” He wowed the group with the clarity he brought to the topic. Several of the participants immediately decided to hire him as a consultant to help them implement their web-based strategies and product creation.
We talked and immediately found a similar enthusiasm to learn the latest Internet-based strategies for marketing and income and a commitment to empowering others to learn the same stuff by making it simple to learn and use.
In this blog, we will share our new ideas and enthusiasms and hope to convince you to come and play and learn with us in Santa Fe next January, 2008 for our Internet Marketing and Digital Products Creation Boot Camp. Hi Bill,
I attended your Writer’s Conference lecture at the BEA, Slouching Toward the 21st Century. I really enjoyed your presentation and was thrilled to learn about so many options for marketing on the web.
I volunteer in publishing and marketing for a small grass roots non-profit. We are just beginning to take marketing seriously, so there is a lot for us/me to learn. In the next 6 months we may be getting some national and international TV coverage. I want to take advantage of this opportunity and get as much millage out of it as possible for our organization. I also want us to be prepared for what we hope will be an increase of public and media interest.
I see that you’ve been on Oprah and other shows. How have you made the most of those events? Can you offer me any suggestions or tips? Are there any resources you can refer me to?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Jennifer
