Resources

Greetings Santa Fe Bootcamp Attendees. We have set-up this page to simplify the process of getting to certain resources:

1) Get a blog:
Wordpress
Blogger

Get steriods for your Wordpress Blog: Semiologic. I (Ryan) had wanted to buy the Semiologic WordPress package for almost a year, but something about PAYING for software on a FREE blogging platform, held me back. However, now that I am actively maintaining many blogs, the Semilogic package started to make more sense and I decided to buy it. It has dozens of the most useful “plug-ins” (add on software for your blog) already configured. It also has some amazing Search Engine Optimization features, built in. It’s not cheap ($295) but it is a time-saver and money-maker for the serious blogger. You can use it on an unlimited number of your own blogs. You have to be hosting your blog to use this (i.e., it won’t work on wordpress.com blogs).

2) How to find your top internet-marketing keywords:
Wordtracker
Overture

3) Google adsense:

4) Google Adwords:

5) Get the Firefox browser. It is safer, more secure, and faster than Internet Explorer. It also have “tabbed” browsing which saves a TON of time, when you are surfing and need to access multiple webpages:

7) E-Shopping Cart Options (built in affiliate programs):
E-Junkie (1-week free trial, basic option is just $5 per month).

WebMarketing Magic. Powerful.
Bill uses WebMarketing Magic for many purposes, including selling products and managing his many “autoresponder” lists. Ryan recently cancelled his account, but might start using them again for his autoresponders. Why did he cancel? E-junkie (see above) is cheaper and easier for some of his start-up products, such as Eliminate Back Pain Now.
8) Accepting and Sending Money:
Paypal
Paypal is my (Ryan’s) favorite way of sending and recieive money. Why? Security. I can send money to merchants that I do not know, and they never have access to my personal details like credit card numbers. Paypal acts as an intermediary and protects my info. They are also an inexpensive option for receiving money.

9) Affiliate Systems:
PayDotCom
You can use Paydotcom to both sell your product and as an affiliate scheme. It has the advantage of offering “private” affiliates. This can be useful. For instance, I (Ryan) only want people that I know selling my seminars. However, my digital products and mp3’s - anyone can sell them.
