Increasing google adsense revenues by 200 - 300%

At the bootcamp, Bill and I are going to share a small but potentially significant way of earning passive income with your websites - google adsense. The google adsense program allows you to place clickable ads on your website that are matched to the written content of your site. So if you write about “Eliminating Back Pain” or “Executive Coaching” or “Brief Therapy” or [fill in your site's topic here] google will place ads directly relevant to that content - showing ads that are potentally interesting to your readers. When a person clicks the ad, you will recieve revenue for each click. The revenue varies. I have been recieving 3 - 50 cents per click.

Before we go any futher, let me do a little mind-reading and answer those who might say, “Google ads can junk up your site and make it ugly. I don’t want that!” I agree. Many of you will not want to put ads on your site and that’s fine. In fact, there are certain kinds of websites that absolutely should NOT use them. I only use them on a couple of my websites. However, if you do decide to put ads on one of your sites, you will want to maximize your revenue, correct?

The Web Whisperers will show you how to do that.

Let me share one thing that I have discovered to maximize the click-through-rate. Match the size, style and color of the ads to match the formatting of your site. I increased the click through rate on one of my sites from 3% to 10% by doing that.

At the bootcamp, I will take you through some “live” examples from my websites and share my google adsense data so that you can decide whether or not to use this particular passive income strategy. My good friend Michael Beale makes several hundred dollars per month from adsense. For him, it’s part of an overall strategy for generating passive income. It could be useful for you as well.
